Software QA Manager at NVIDIA

We are seeking a Software QA Manager to take ownership of a new testing domain. This critical role ensures NVIDIA products achieve industry-leading benchmarks for efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will be adept at learning new features, executing both manual and automated tests, and serving as a technical expert for their team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the QA team from the planning stage through execution, up to the General Availability (GA) release, ensuring the highest quality for NVIDIA products.
  • Collaborate effectively with peer engineering teams, and program/product management to meet or exceed product requirements, goals, and objectives.
  • Lead and implement robust analysis, debugging, and tracking flows in accordance with established QA and software methodologies.
  • Review the team's test plans to ensure comprehensive product coverage and drive towards full automation.
  • Report bugs identified during execution, provide assistance with reproduction and debugging to ascertain root cause, and verify bug fixes delivered by the R&D team.
  • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members.
  • Review and identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes, infrastructure, and practices to ensure the team operates with maximum efficiency.

What We Need To See

  • B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ overall years of experience as a QA and QA Automation Engineer.
  • 2+ years of managerial experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage with other peers across the organization and with support organizations.
  • Experience with a scripting language.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to successfully lead multiple teams in a highly dynamic matrix organization.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Expert level proficiency in Python programming.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and virtualization technologies.
  • Background in release management, V&V (Verification & Validation), and E2E (End-to-End) testing.
