About the Senior Data Engineer Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join the manufacturing data Engineering team at NVIDIA. You will help craft data collection solutions, quality control methodologies, and monitors while supporting data scale enlargement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust data pipelines and workflows.
• Develop and support data models, schemas, and database structures for fast analytics.
• Optimize real-time and batch data processing workflows.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
• Control, monitor, and optimize worldwide production servers.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Stay updated with data engineering technologies and introduce new tools and methodologies.
• Mentor junior data engineers and promote a culture of learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant hands-on data engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong programming skills in Python or Scala.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frameworks like Kafka, Cloudera, Spark, Airflow, or Hadoop.
• Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high quality data delivery.
