About the Role

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Data Center Ethernet Network Engineer to join its Infrastructure Specialists team. Academic and commercial groups worldwide use NVIDIA products to redefine deep learning, data analytics, and power data centers.

What You'll Be Doing

You will spearhead the conception, development, and execution of ground-breaking data center networks under the Plan, Design, & Implement (PDI) framework. Key responsibilities include:

• Design, architect, and test Ethernet networking solutions.
• Provide Ethernet expertise for server infrastructure and GPU-enabled AI applications.
• Develop and evaluate DevOps automation scripts and switch fabric configurations.
• Implement network configuration and validation tasks in data centers.
• Create Methods of Procedure and deployment documents.
• Utilize software tools to validate and monitor network performance.

What We Need To See

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics (or equivalent).
• 6+ years of networking fundamentals and data center architecture experience.
• Strong hands-on routing with BGP, VxLAN, and EVPN.
• Expertise in client requirement analysis and network design.
• Experience in automation using Ansible, Salt, and Python.
• Background in data center engineering, networking, or cloud applications.
• Understanding of Linux OS, kernel drivers, and hardware architecture.
• Familiarity with NetDevOps workflows and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Ways To Stand Out

Additional certifications and experiences:

• Linux certifications.
• Internetwork Expert (CCIE, JNCIE, ACE-E) certification in Data Centers.
• Experience with Cumulus OS and Infiniband certifications.
