About the Role

In the role of Senior Content Pipeline Engineer, you will design and productize content and data pipelines, SDKs, and APIs. These tools power next-generation experiences across platforms such as physical AI, robotics, and simulation, and enable smooth integration for external developers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead multiple engineering initiatives and workstreams for content pipelines and tool integration.
• Architect, implement, and productize SDKs, APIs, Blueprints, and reference pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and research teams to transition prototypes into production-quality offerings.
• Work with Product Managers, Developer Relations, and Solution Architects to capture and fulfill external requirements.
• Define technical standards and documentation for content ingestion, transformation, validation, and deployment.
• Build high-quality, maintainable software with performance and scalability in focus.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship through design reviews and planning sessions.
• Manage project execution from scoping and planning to risk management and cross-team alignment.
• Partner with robotics and simulation teams to ensure pipelines meet real-time, safety, and reliability standards.

What We Need To See

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years in professional software development.
• Strong programming experience in C++, Python, and USD with a proven record in building robust software libraries or SDKs.
• Expertise in developing software systems involving data or content pipelines and asset workflows.
• Solid project management skills and experience coordinating cross-team collaborations.
• Experience working with external partners to deliver solutions that meet real-world requirements.

Ways To Stand Out

• Experience in robotics, simulation, or real-time systems.
• Background in building content/data pipelines for game engines or digital twins.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA SDKs, APIs, or developer tools and profitable collaboration with DevRel teams.
• Experience leading engineering teams or large multi-stakeholder initiatives in a senior capacity.
