Overview

The Senior Architect - NVIDIA plays a key role on the NVIDIA GPU Architecture team. This role involves modeling and validating chip architectures, microcontrollers, and working on design IPs for next generation GPUs.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Architectural design and functional modeling of GPU components with focus on control fabric, NOC’s, and register buses.
  • Contribute to SOC security and virtualization efforts.
  • Design with multi-die architectures emphasizing dynamic configuration, power, and performance.
  • Collaborate with architecture, ASIC, DV, power, and security teams to document, design, and develop new features.
  • Develop models using C++/SystemC, tests, test plans, and testing infrastructures.
  • Improve flows for turnkey delivery of GPU address maps and assist in building validation tools.

What We Need To See

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience (or master’s/PhD with equivalent experience).
  • Strong programming skills in C++, C with familiarity with build systems, toolchains, and libraries.
  • Background in Computer Architecture and experience in modeling with SystemC & Transaction Level Modeling.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Python, Perl and excellent communication skills.

Compensation & Employment

Base salary range varies based on experience and level. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. The base salary range for Level 4 is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD and for Level 5 is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.
