Overview

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Architect, AI Solutions Engineering to join its Infrastructure Planning and Process Team. This role focuses on scaling up AI solutions for NVIDIA's internal cloud infrastructure, supporting nearly half a million automated jobs daily across five thousand servers.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop internal AI systems used by thousands of NVIDIA team members globally.
• Identify tool gaps and optimize AI development and testing systems.
• Research and decide on buy versus build options.
• Mentor and guide engineers in solving complex technical problems.
• Plan and optimize software/hardware capacity for internal and public cloud.
• Collaborate with teams to set overall AI system goals and break them into objectives.
• Work with vendors to gain insights into the AI industry.

Required Qualifications

• BS in EE/CS or equivalent with 10+ years of systems software development experience.
• Experience with AI development, including LLMs, RAG, and AI Agentic workflows.
• Extensive experience in architecting large-scale distributed software systems.
• Proficiency in JAVA, Python, Shell scripting, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on with SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker containers, and Virtual Machines.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies like OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD in EE/CS with deep expertise in AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
• Experience in service-oriented architecture and high-performance system design.
