About the Role
Are you passionate about the future of autonomous vehicles? Join NVIDIA's DRIVE Road Structure, Online Mapping, and Context Fusion team to build next generation self-driving technology. As a Senior Algorithm Engineer, Map-Perception Fusion, you will work on developing advanced 3D world models that combine map and perception data, enabling vehicles to navigate complex roads and intersections in the U.S. and China.
What You'll Be Doing
- Contribute to core autonomous driving systems integrating cutting-edge perception and mapping technologies.
- Build real-time dynamic 3D world models using sensor and external data.
- Support mapless driving with enriched bird’s-eye-view models.
- Enhance scenario understanding with obstacle detection and occupancy grids.
- Collaborate across teams and maintain high standards in code safety and reliability.
What We Need To See
A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field along with 8+ years of relevant software development experience. Prior experiences in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or automotive platforms are advantageous. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential, along with a willingness to learn and grow in a diverse global work environment.
