Role Overview
The Director Service Operations Cloud Compute Services at NVIDIA will lead and scale a highly available Cloud Compute Service. The role involves managing multiple data centers, thousands of servers, and ensuring high levels of service availability through innovative process engineering, project management, and robust vendor relationships.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and implement strategies for bringing new data centers online.
- Craft SLAs and establish critical service metrics.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams including Hardware Engineering and Service Design.
- Collaborate with peer organizations to solve operational issues.
- Drive cost-effective and efficient process improvements.
- Create dashboards showcasing service health and performance.
What We Need To See
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years in service management and technology operations.
- At least 7 years in senior leadership and team management roles.
- Proven experience in large-scale 24/7 cloud operations and data center management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience managing global teams.
- Expertise in project management, vendor management, and process engineering.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary ranges from 292,000 USD to 442,750 USD. In addition, you will be eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
