About the Role
The Geospatial Project Manager at NV5 is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering assigned geospatial projects. This position ensures that multiple concurrent projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the agreed scope and quality.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of enterprise GIS projects from initiation through closeout. Coordinate daily activities of project teams including developers, GIS analysts, and subject matter experts using Agile and Scrum methodologies. Support client communications and manage remote teams via web-based collaboration. Track project progress using established tools, monitor budgets, and facilitate stakeholder engagement by leading regular video meetings.
Qualifications
Must-Have: 2–4 years of experience managing GIS or IT projects, with 5+ years in the geospatial field. Experience with Esri-based GIS solutions, Agile methodologies, and strong organizational skills. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and project management certification (PMP preferred) are required.
Additional Qualifications: Proficiency in tools like MS Project, DevOps, SharePoint, Teams, and Jira. Experience with public sector or commercial clients, familiarity with geospatial data types, and background in Agile/Scrum practices.

This role offers a flexible work setting, with the option to work from any NV5 Regional Office or remotely. Occasional travel (typically less than 20%) may be required.
