Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC) is a renowned, 349-bed regional medical center overlooking the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, New York. SUMMARY
Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality age-appropriate nursing care to patients that is consistent with organizational philosophy, goals and policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from accredited school of nursing; BSN Preferred
- Experience: Must have critical care experience in an acute care setting
- License: Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS Certifications Required, Critical Care Certification when eligible and TCAR Certification when eligible
Working Conditions
- Manual: Little or no manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
- Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk
- Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force
- Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
