About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and analytically minded Cybersecurity Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leads to support a wide range of cyber data initiatives from refining existing data products to onboarding new data sources and implementing new data validation tests.

Key Responsibilities
- Leverage existing patterns and frameworks to:
- Onboard new data sources
- Remediate and uplift legacy code
- Develop and enhance data models to implement business rules
- Troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and data pipelines.
- Work closely with stakeholders to manage expectations and prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across our cyber data ecosystem.
Essential (must have) Skills
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with SIEM.
- Understanding of MITRE frameworks.
- Clear understanding of the difference between threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experience working in sprints / agile delivery.
- Solid cyber security vocabulary.
Great to have skills
- Experience with GCP, BigQuery, DBT.
- Experience working in DevOps environments.
- Experience with any streaming data platforms.
- CI/CD development & SecOps experience.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native tooling, containers, GitHub, and ephemeral workloads
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Exposure to cyber metrics and graph database concepts.
