Desktop Support Technician at NTT DATA North America

NTT DATA is looking for an exceptional, innovative, and passionate individual to join our team as a Desktop Support Technician in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. In this role, you will provide onsite support, manage ticket resolution and the regional stockroom, and own issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops, notebooks, and printers.
  • Respond to calls after normal business hours as needed.
  • Identify and correct potential issues impacting end user experience.
  • Update and resolve tickets in a timely manner to meet Service Levels.
  • Utilize and recommend policies and procedures, acting as an escalation point for less experienced team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Desktop/End User Support experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Preferences

  • Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment.
  • Undergraduate degree or some college coursework is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the Windows operating system environment.
  • A+ desktop or equivalent certification.
  • Solid client service skills and ability to perform general office requirements.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight domestic trips.
