Desktop Support Technician at NTT DATA North America
NTT DATA is looking for an exceptional, innovative, and passionate individual to join our team as a Desktop Support Technician in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. In this role, you will provide onsite support, manage ticket resolution and the regional stockroom, and own issues through to resolution.
Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops, notebooks, and printers.
- Respond to calls after normal business hours as needed.
- Identify and correct potential issues impacting end user experience.
- Update and resolve tickets in a timely manner to meet Service Levels.
- Utilize and recommend policies and procedures, acting as an escalation point for less experienced team members.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of Desktop/End User Support experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Preferences
- Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment.
- Undergraduate degree or some college coursework is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Windows operating system environment.
- A+ desktop or equivalent certification.
- Solid client service skills and ability to perform general office requirements.
- Willingness to travel, including overnight domestic trips.
