Job Summary

The Asset Management Specialist - Hardware manages hardware assets within Asset Management under the Lifecycle Operations Line of Business. This role is crucial for tracking inventory, conducting audits, and overseeing procurement to ensure comprehensive lifecycle management, compliance with regulations, and adherence to optimization guidelines. You will leverage specialized hardware tracking software and inventory auditing techniques to prepare detailed procurement packages and utilize depreciation calculation tools. The position also involves supporting disposal process management and configuration baseline maintenance to facilitate rationalization, while actively coordinating with vendors to enhance overall hardware efficiency.

Job Duties

  • Utilize hardware tracking software for comprehensive asset visibility.
  • Perform inventory auditing techniques to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare procurement packages for hardware acquisitions.
  • Apply depreciation calculation tools for financial reporting and planning.
  • Manage disposal processes for end-of-life hardware assets.
  • Support configuration baseline maintenance for optimal system performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors for efficient hardware acquisition and support.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; one-and-one-half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a related field.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
