Role Context

Cyber crimes such as phishing, scams, and data theft are increasing. To combat these threats, organizations are turning to qualified cybersecurity teams empowered with AI to detect and counter malicious activities. AI in cybersecurity analyzes event and threat data to offer clear and actionable insights, even automating response via generative AI.

Your Mission

You will identify and select innovative AI ecosystems to support cybersecurity efforts. Your mission includes building a modular and repeatable AI Cybersecurity Architecture virtual platform to test AI-powered SOC tools from various vendors.

Key Tasks

  • Evaluate vendor solutions (e.g., Splunk AI Assistant, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Cortex XDR).
  • Set up lab infrastructure including VMs and network simulations.
  • Document deployment procedures and integration points.

Specialized Subjects

  • Information system security issues and solutions.
  • Third party vendor catalog reviews.
  • Use case analysis for cybersecurity risks.
  • Testing tools in experimental environments.
  • Analyzing benefits and constraints of architectures.

Team Environment

You will be part of the global "Cybersecurity Practice" team, working with experienced security engineers on both technical deployments and managed services. During the internship, you will receive mentoring from a senior engineer and team leader, participate in team meetings and face real-world challenges.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Pursuing a 5th year of a master’s degree or similar.
  • Familiarity with traditional networking standards and concepts.
  • Interest in global technology, security, encryption, and virtualization.
  • Programming skills in scripting languages like bash or Python are a plus.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Relevant prior work experience is advantageous.
