About the Project

Join NTT DATA Europe & Latam to work on a significant initiative for the European Commission, aiming to create a more efficient, modern, and secure customs environment within the European Union. This five-year project focuses on the digitalization of customs processes, streamlining procedures to facilitate trade, reduce costs, harmonize customs rules across EU member states, and combat fraud. What You'll Be Doing

• Play a crucial role in designing cutting-edge solutions from various vendors and enhancing existing virtualization platforms.
• Work closely with customers to define project scopes, understand requirements, and design robust, scalable, and secure virtualization architectures.
• Design and implement virtualization solutions using VMware vSphere, vCenter, VSAN, NSX-T, Aria Operations, and Aria Orchestration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create detailed architecture documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Lead the transition and handover of infrastructure to operational teams, with a strong focus on automation.
• Provide Level 3 support for complex virtualization issues and ensure service availability and confidentiality.
• Coach and transfer knowledge to operational teams to foster a collaborative and skilled environment.
• Support production environments, including occasional work outside business hours.
• Ensure alignment with ITIL, project management methodologies, and SAFe Agile frameworks.
• Design and implement high-availability, secure, and resilient virtualization environments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network components and configurations related to virtualization platforms.

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in virtualization architecture and design, particularly with VMware technologies.
• Deep technical knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, VSAN, NSX-T, Aria Operations, Aria Orchestration, and Aria Automation.
• Strong analytical skills to create current and future state architecture documents, including automation workflows and integration models.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, including configuration and monitoring of virtualized network components.
• Knowledge of PKS (Pivotal Container Service) is considered an asset.
• Relevant certifications in virtualization technologies.
• Experience working in medium to large IT environments (minimum 5 years).
• Understanding of ITIL processes, project management, and Agile methodologies.
• A strong commitment to automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
