Tech Lead & Solution Architect (AWS & Cloud-Native Applications)

NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead & Solution Architect to join one of two product teams, taking on alternating leadership and architectural responsibilities. This role merges deep technical execution with solution design, focusing on creating scalable, secure, and user-centric cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in AWS cloud services, modern web frameworks, and data engineering, coupled with excellent communication skills to foster trust with Client stakeholders and uphold high engineering and architectural standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and support product teams as a hands-on Tech Lead and AWS Solution Architect.
• Structure project work, conduct code reviews, select appropriate design patterns, and guide developers in delivering high-quality User Stories.
• Actively contribute to software development within a cloud-native AWS environment using TypeScript.
• Design and develop frontend applications using React, Next.js, and Tailwind-based frameworks.
• Implement backend services in Node.js/TypeScript for ETL, ML workflows, and risk insights.
• Architect and maintain secure REST APIs with robust authentication mechanisms (OAuth/OIDC, HMAC).
• Ensure security and compliance through IAM/CIAM policies, TLS/KMS encryption, and comprehensive audit logging.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate within Agile teams (UI/UX, Scrum Master, PO), actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, and contribute to architectural reviews.
• Engage in cross-team synchronization meetings to effectively manage dependencies and maintain transparent communication.

What You'll Bring Along

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
• Solid knowledge of React, Next.js, Flowbite/Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of Node.js and REST API design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including: Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, IAM, Secrets Manager, VPC Endpoints, PrivateLink, Step Functions.
• Strong experience with APIs & integrations: REST, gRPC, OAuth/OIDC, EventBridge, SQS, webhooks, and integration with OEM and insurer systems.
• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CDK for Terraform (CDKTF), environment configuration, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Strong understanding of IAM/CIAM (Entra), TLS/KMS, WAF, Cognito Multi‑Tenancy.
• Proven experience with implementing and managing QPE (candidates should be familiar with this acronym).
• Proven experience in conducting and leading Architecture Reviews.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; German language skills are a plus.
