About the Role

The Senior Java Developer with Azure role at NTT DATA Europe & Latam involves designing, developing, and deploying Java-based applications ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability. You will implement API integrations using RESTful and SOAP protocols, develop cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot issues. The role requires writing clean, well-documented code, following coding standards, and being active in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including code reviews and sprint planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Java-based applications.
  • Create API integrations using RESTful and SOAP protocols.
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement security best practices.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and code reviews.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP API integrations.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills in English (German is a plus).
