NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure for critical data and analytics platforms. This role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure the scalability, security, and high performance of systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automation with PowerShell and YAML.
- Efficiently manage Azure IaaS & PaaS resources.
- Configure Azure networking components like App Gateways, Firewalls, and API Management.
- Monitor infrastructure using Azure tools and third-party observability platforms.
- Implement OAuth2/OpenID Connect for identity management with Entra ID.
- Govern Azure resources using Azure Policies.
- Design geo-redundant and highly available systems.
- Apply basic SQL skills in deployment and support tasks.
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance (e.g., PCI DSS).
- Optimize cloud costs using Azure Cost Management tools.
- Provide OnCall availability if needed.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment while working independently.
- Participate in Agile Scrum teams to continuously improve delivery pipelines.
What You'll Bring Along
- Bachelor’s in Informatics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform, PowerShell, and YAML.
- Deep expertise in Azure (IaaS/PaaS), including networking and identity management.
- Understanding of redundancy, scaling, and policy enforcement principles.
- Basic SQL skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies, Agile, and Scrum frameworks.
- Experience with security best practices and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Docker/Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Certifications in Azure or DevOps are highly valued.
- Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
- Ability to effectively explain complex technical solutions in a business context.
