Who We Are

NTT DATA Europe & Latam is actively seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer to contribute to system design, requirements management, and rigorous testing activities within the realm of automotive embedded systems. This role is deeply rooted in model-based development using cutting-edge MathWorks tools and robust AUTOSAR-based architectures, offering invaluable exposure to electric powertrain and high-voltage automotive applications.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Model-Based Systems Engineer

• Develop and meticulously maintain system and software models utilizing MATLAB/Simulink, System Composer, and associated MathWorks toolchains.
• Provide essential support for system architecture design and seamless integration based on industry-standard AUTOSAR protocols.
• Actively engage with Vector MICROSAR, preferably in relevant AUTOSAR-based projects.
• Efficiently manage and trace system and software requirements using advanced tools like IBM DOORS and JAMA.
• Precisely define and rigorously execute verification activities with Simulink Test, Test Manager, and other pertinent tools.
• Offer active support for comprehensive testing, intricate debugging, and thorough issue analysis across both system and software levels.
• Foster close collaboration with dedicated software, hardware, and testing teams to ensure project success.

What You’ll Bring Along

• A university degree in Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• A solid minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a MATLAB/Simulink Developer specifically within automotive embedded systems.
• Strong hands-on expertise with MathWorks tools, including Simulink, System Composer, Requirements Toolbox, and Test Manager.
• Demonstrated proven experience working extensively with AUTOSAR architecture.
• Prior exposure to Vector MICROSAR is considered highly desirable for this role.
• Practical experience with various requirements management systems, such as DOORS and JAMA.
• A foundational background in automotive systems development.
• Nice to Have: Previous project experience in electric powertrains or high-voltage automotive applications.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with model-based verification and validation processes.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English for effective communication.
