About Us
DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.
The team is made up of enthusiastic professionals that work in an international environment adapting to different context and learning new technologies and parts of Deutsche Banks’ businesses. We are flexible about our working locations and travel abroad to enable project success and speed up delivery and knowledge transfer activities. Every day we look at what needs to be done to support continuous business and how to improve current activities. What You’ll Be Doing
A creative approach towards solving technical problems fast.
- LookML Development: Write LookML code to define dimensions, measures, and relationships between tables, ensuring consistent data modeling.
- Data Visualization: Design interactive dashboards, reports, and tiles that provide deep, actionable insights.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize data models and queries for better performance.
- Data Governance: Implement security settings to control data access and maintain a single source of truth.
- Embedding & API: Utilize the Looker API to embed reports in external applications and automate workflows.
- Version Control: Use Git to manage LookML code changes, collaborating with teams in Development Mode.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Looker Business Intelligence.
- In-depth experience with Data Modelling.
- Experience with SQL.
- Knowledge of Jira.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Client interaction skills.
Nice To Have
- Experience in Qlik Sense/QlikView or other BI Tools.
- Knowledge of Lending Business in Banking Systems.
