As a Lead Cloud Software Architect, you will develop solutions that make transport and logistics processes smarter, more connected, and more sustainable. Your Mission

• Conceive, develop, and manage cloud-native and AI-based software solutions that enable digital transformation in transport and logistics networks, from route planning to real-time tracking.
• Integrate these solutions into existing IT and telematics systems, considering specific requirements for security, scalability, and performance.
• Take technical responsibility for development teams and provide holistic consulting to our clients, from architecture to operational implementation.
• Support the pre-sales process and contribute your expertise in transport IT, logistics processes, and cloud technologies to complex tenders and offers.
• Network within technical communities, drive new initiatives in platform and cloud architecture, and support the further development of our portfolio for mobility and logistics.

Your Skillset

• Completed IT degree or equivalent qualification and experience in the transport, mobility, or logistics industry with a focus on IT and architecture.
• Design cloud and microservice architectures that meet requirements for real-time processing, fault tolerance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDP, ISO, BSI).
• Experience with industry interfaces and integration patterns, e.g., for connecting TMS, WMS, fleet management, or IoT systems.
• Proficiency in DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, and comfortable working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, or in sovereign cloud environments.
• Confident communication in German and English, and adept at operating in complex, often international client environments.
