Your Role as Lead Cloud Software Architect, Manufacturing & Dual Use Solutions

As a Lead Cloud Software Architect, you will shape the future of industrial software solutions with us. You will develop platforms for resilient, automated, and secure production and manufacturing environments in the context of Manufacturing and Dual Use, leveraging modern Cloud and AI technologies.

Your Mission

• You conceive, develop, and are responsible for Cloud-native and AI-based software solutions for industrial applications – from smart shop floor to edge intelligence and resilient cloud platforms.
• You ensure integration into existing OT/IT landscapes and guarantee compatibility with current standards and guidelines for industrial software.
• You assume technical responsibility for agile development teams and advise our customers on the end-to-end implementation of complex software solutions throughout their entire lifecycle.
• You actively support pre-sales and bring your expertise in Cloud, Manufacturing IT, and Dual Use technologies specifically into tender processes.
• You share your knowledge in technical communities, drive the further development of our Cloud competence in an industrial environment, and contribute new impulses.

Your Skillset

• You have a completed IT degree or comparable qualification and project experience in an industrial or dual-use-related environment (e.g., production IT, Smart Factory, automation).
• You design scalable Cloud and Microservice architectures, considering requirements for data security, availability, and regulatory specifications (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI, Industrie 4.0).
• You bring sound knowledge in security-critical architectures and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, NIST) and can translate them into highly available solutions for production or logistics.
• You are familiar with integration patterns for industrial systems, e.g., MES/ERP connection, Edge deployments, or hybrid platform architectures.
• You are proficient in DevSecOps practices, work confidently with modern Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, sovereign Clouds), and communicate fluently in German and English.
