NTT DATA is looking for a Senior Executive with strong European Public Sector experience to join our Athens office. This role will be primarily accountable for delivery leadership across the Greece delivery organization, while also supporting in business development and growth across selected EU Public Sector accounts & local markets. This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact, you’ll be accountable for the performance and development of Greece delivery organization, strengthen our positioning working in close coordination with internal stakeholders, consortium members, and strategic partners.
Your Role: Lead the organization in Greece
- Lead the Greece delivery organization and ensure the right people are in the right roles across accounts and initiatives.
- Build a strong talent pool, participate and lead performance management, promotions, career paths, coaching, and succession planning.
- Monitor, plan, supervise and control the creation of delivery teams through defined staffing processes across the different organizational units, according to needs and required capabilities.
- Contribute on strategies to ensure growth of programs in the organization, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs (team structure, hiring priorities, utilization, and bench management).
- Uphold organizational policies and standards, ensuring relevant regulations and rules are followed and changes promptly identified and assessed.
- Report the evolution, needs and forecasts to senior management.
- Actively engaged in delivery by executing contractual roles within different accounts according to organization needs in alignment with his/her seniority and position targeting on delivery excellent.
- Work closely with human resources and talent functions to lead team and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with all peer leads, external partners, to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear delivery governance on quality, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
Business Development & Portfolio Growth
- Grow our EU Public Sector business (and, where relevant, local public sector/private opportunities) through strong relationships and account plans.
- Own the pipeline end-to-end, creating opportunities, positioning, solutioning, and leading bids (tenders, frameworks, renewals, extensions).
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction & successful execution with high quality.
- Ensure effective governance across consortium members and partners, including performance management and issue resolution.
- Act as an escalation point when needed—driving timely corrective actions and stakeholder alignment.
Your Profile
- 10+ years of experience in IT consultancy, program, and Delivery Management, having held similar management positions.
- Senior leadership experience in delivery management and/or consulting in Public Sector (EU institutions experience is a strong plus).
- Strong people leadership in building teams, developing leaders, and running performance cycles with clarity and fairness.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.
- Executive-level verbal and written communication skills to negotiate with and influence stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or ITIL framework.
- Expertise in risk mitigation and managing complex project portfolios.
- Experience negotiating business plans and managing relationships with external clients.
- A proven track record in business development: shaping opportunities, leading bids/tenders, and growing accounts.
- Manage relationships with key clients across a portfolio of customers (Europe/Local Team).
- Manage existing relationship & build new ones across a portfolio of customers (Europe/Local Team).
