Your Mission

As a Leading Business Development Manager - Cloud & Software | Industry & Services (w/m/x), you will play a pivotal role in strategically expanding our business within defined customer segments of the Industry and Services sector. You will utilize your strong network, industry expertise, and technological understanding to identify new opportunities, generate growth, and position NTT DATA as the preferred digitalization partner.

  • You will take responsibility for specific customer segments in the Industry and Services sector, driving the expansion of business relationships.
  • You will identify, qualify, and develop new leads and opportunities, systematically increasing revenue, pipeline, and win rates in tenders.
  • You will actively position NTT DATA's technological portfolio, including our offerings, services, and assets, with decision-makers up to C-level.
  • You will win strategic projects to successfully bring our onshore and shoring teams into new client projects.
  • You will develop compelling value propositions and present them confidently to client executives.
  • You will collaborate closely with Delivery, Portfolio, and Presales teams to orchestrate innovative solutions that are convincing in terms of content, technology, and commercial aspects.
  • You will act as a driver for new topics, leverage your growth mindset for business development, and persuade stakeholders through clear positioning and communication.

Your Skillset

  • You possess several years of experience in IT consulting or the IT services sector within the Industry and Services branch.
  • You have a detailed understanding of the challenges, structures, and processes of the Industry and Services sector, and can derive concrete potentials from them.
  • With your technological and professional expertise, you can convincingly position complex topics like Cloud, AI, Architecture, or Modernization with the client.
  • You are excellently networked in the Industry and Services sector, ideally up to C-level.
  • You have successfully acquired, developed, and managed projects at the intersection of business, IT, and strategy.
  • You have a strong Business Development & Sales Mindset, acting solution-oriented and with clear customer focus.
  • With your growth mindset, you convince internally and externally, proactively drive topics, and think entrepreneurially.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills in German and English are among your strengths.
  • You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
