About Data Intelligence at NTT DATA Italia
Data Intelligence is the NTT DATA Italia area focused on extracting value from data. It consists of approximately 600 internal resources, supplemented by an ecosystem of selected partners.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves activities within the typical professional scope of the Data Intelligence area, including:
- Data Management
- Data Visualization
- Advanced Analytics
- Big Data
This position is open to various seniority levels, from profiles with at least 2 years of specific experience to more senior profiles (data engineer/architect/middle management).
Your Contribution in This Role
Depending on their seniority, the profile will be responsible for:
- Analyzing, designing, and implementing complex applications based on Big Data technologies, working in a team.
- Evaluating impacts and estimating the effort (in terms of time and costs) for the realization of new applications.
- Supporting in the design aspects and definition of technological choices, considering the application context.
- Interfacing at various levels with different involved stakeholders (developers, TL, clients, etc.).
Ideal Profile Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in the required areas are requested, including:
- Experience using Cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of Apache Spark/Spark Streaming, Apache Kafka, and NoSQL databases (Apache Cassandra, MongoDB, Hbase, SOLR).
- Excellent knowledge of SQL language.
- Proven experience in application development with object-oriented languages (Java, Python, Scala).
- Experience using the distributed filesystem HDFS.
- Experience with one or more of the following applications: Apache Hive, Apache Flume, Apache Sqoop, Apache Oozie, Apache Zeppelin, Elastic Stack.
- Experience in using and/or configuring one or more of the following platforms: Cloudera, Kubernetes.
- Experience in developing systems based on RESTful APIs.
