About The Opportunity
Health Infrastructure is seeking a motivated and skilled Communications Officer with a strong interest in project communications to join our Communications & Engagement team. Working closely with Communications & Engagement Leads, you will support project teams across NSW by planning and delivering communication activities aligned with key project milestones. This includes developing clear, engaging and strategically aligned content to support project updates, workforce engagement and stakeholder understanding.
This is a full-time fixed term position for an approximate 12-month period until 1 April 2027.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed. This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
In This Role, You Will
- Work directly with project teams to understand milestones, timelines and information needs
- Develop high quality project communications collateral such as newsletters, project fact sheets, website content, email communications and presentation materials
- Support engagement activities including staff information sessions, project information stalls, walkthroughs, and community or stakeholder briefings
- Translate technical project information into accessible, meaningful content tailored for diverse audiences
- Maintain consistent messaging across channels and ensure all communications meet corporate guidelines.
About You
You are a proactive, organised and adaptable communications professional with experience delivering engaging content and communication activities across a range of channels. You are a clear and confident writer who can tailor messages for diverse audiences, manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
You bring a strong attention to detail and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders to coordinate input and approvals, as well as working collaboratively with project teams and supporting engagement activities such as information sessions or project stalls.
