About the Senior Project Coordinator Role
The Senior Project Coordinator will provide essential analytical and project coordination support to the Elections Division at the NSW Electoral Commission. This role involves assisting with the planning, monitoring, and delivery of critical projects that underpin major election events. You will work closely with the Director, Integrity and Security, to support risk monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and project reporting in a dynamic and time-critical environment. This position is vital for ensuring project controls, governance, and risk frameworks are effectively applied to uphold the integrity and security of election operations across New South Wales.
This is a Temporary Full-time position, available until 30 June 2027.
Key Knowledge, Experience, and Essential Requirements
As the successful Senior Project Coordinator candidate, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience providing project coordination and administrative support within a complex or time-critical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake research, analysis, and reporting to support informed project planning and risk monitoring.
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals, including governance, risk, and issues management frameworks.
- A politically neutral stance, with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners.
- A satisfactory criminal Record check result.
