About the Role
The Security Project Coordinator role is a temporary opportunity until 30 June 2027 with a possibility for extension or permanency. This role supports the delivery of the DCS Cyber Security Strategy by assisting Security Project Managers and Leads with cyber security projects including project communications, stakeholder engagement, change activities and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and leads with security project delivery
- Coordinate resources, documentation, and reporting for projects
- Monitor project implementation, manage risks and contingencies
- Coordinate workshops and stakeholder engagements
- Conduct research and shape evidence-based project recommendations
About You
Candidates should have experience in cyber security or technical project delivery, consulting with diverse stakeholders, and using project management tools such as DCS Altus. Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude are required.
Additional Information
The position offers flexible hybrid working options and is part of the DCS Cyber & Information Security Office. The role's salary ranges from $129,464 to $142,665 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience.
