Job Description
Overview
The Communications Officer supports planning and implementing communications activities across various channels, working in close collaboration with the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) and other Communities and Justice business areas. This role also provides administrative and project coordination support to the NCAT Communications Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver online content across digital channels (websites, e-newsletters, intranet platforms).
- Coordinate events and contribute to the development of educational resources and programs.
- Maintain and manage the Tribunal’s intranet platforms ensuring usability, accessibility, and compliance.
- Produce communications materials including factsheets, guidelines, brochures, posters, and promotional items.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to align efforts with brand guidelines.
- Maintain effective information and record keeping systems.
Requirements
Applicants should have experience or relevant skills in developing creative and engaging online content, building strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders, working with specialized software and media options, and managing changing workloads and tight deadlines. The role may involve exposure to psychosocial hazards inherent in tribunal environments.
