Administration Assistant - Sydney Metro Community Corrections
Corrective Services NSW is seeking an Administration Assistant to join their Sydney Metro Community Corrections team. This is a talent pool creation for future ongoing and temporary roles across various Sydney Metropolitan locations, valid for up to 18 months.
This role offers a salary of $75,728 - $82,329 pa, plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 1/2).
Your Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and reception services to both internal and external clients, ensuring the smooth delivery of quality services for the organisation. Your responsibilities will include a range of administrative support tasks such as:
- Handling non-complex client matters.
- Performing word processing and data entry.
- Preparing correspondence.
- Taking minutes during meetings.
- Maintaining electronic and physical file records.
- Supporting with meetings and events.
What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for collating information to support the development of accurate documentation and reports, including those related to assets. Additionally, you will update records and databases, ensuring compliance with records management processes to maintain accurate, correctly stored, and accessible information.
Applicants with prior administration experience and a high level of computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and competency in applications such as record management systems, are highly desirable. A strong ability to learn and grow in the role, fostering a deep understanding of its requirements, will be crucial.
