Job Description
Your Role as an Administration Assistant
As an Administration Assistant, you will perform essential administrative and reception services for both internal and external clients. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of quality services for the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. You will also manage a range of administrative support tasks pertinent to the business, including non-complex client matters, word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and physical file records, and assisting with meetings and events.
What You’ll Do
- Collate information effectively to support the development of accurate documentation and reports, including those related to assets.
- Update records and databases, ensuring compliance with records management processes to maintain accurate, correctly stored, and accessible information.
- Utilize previous administration experience and demonstrate a high level of computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite. Competency in applications such as record management systems is highly desirable.
