Administration Assistant
Sydney Metro Community Corrections, Corrective Services NSW, is creating a talent pool for future ongoing and temporary Administration Assistant roles within the Sydney Metropolitan area. This pool will be valid for up to 18 months, offering a salary of $75,728 - $82,329 pa, plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 1/2).
Locations covered include Bankstown, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, City (Darlinghurst), Fairfield, Hornsby, Leichhardt, Liverpool, Long Bay, Mount Druitt, Parklea, Parramatta, Penrith, Silverwater, St Leonards, Sutherland, and Windsor.
Your Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and reception services to both internal and external clients. Your contributions will directly support the delivery of high-quality services for the organisation. Key tasks will involve a range of administrative support functions relating to business operations, including handling non-complex client matters, word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and physical file records, and assisting with meetings and events.
What You'll Do
- Collate information to support the development of accurate documentation and reports, including asset-related information.
- Update records and databases, ensuring compliance with records management processes for accuracy, correct storage, and accessibility.
Previous administration experience and a high level of computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and competency in applications such as record management systems, are highly desirable. The ability to learn and grow within the role, fostering a deeper understanding of its requirements, is also important.
