Your Role as an Administration Assistant

As an Administration Assistant within Sydney Metro Community Corrections, you will be integral to the efficient operation of various offices including Bankstown, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, City (Darlinghurst), Fairfield, Hornsby, Leichhardt, Liverpool, Long Bay, Mount Druitt, Parklea, Parramatta, Penrith, Silverwater, St Leonards, Sutherland, and Windsor. This role primarily involves providing essential administrative and reception services to both internal and external clients, ensuring the smooth delivery of quality services for the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing administrative and reception duties for internal and external clients.
  • Supporting quality service delivery for the organisation.
  • Undertaking various administrative support tasks.
  • Handling non-complex client matters.
  • Executing word processing and data entry tasks.
  • Preparing correspondence and taking minutes.
  • Maintaining electronic and physical file records.
  • Providing support for meetings and events.
  • Collating information for accurate documentation and reports, including asset-related data.
  • Updating records and databases, ensuring compliance with records management processes for accuracy and accessibility.
