Administration Assistant, Clerk Grade 1/2
Sydney Metro Community Corrections, Corrective Services NSW, is seeking an Administration Assistant to join their team. This role is part of a talent pool creation for future ongoing and temporary positions within the Sydney Metropolitan area.
A talent pool will be created for future ongoing and temporary roles within Sydney Metropolitan area and is valid for a period of up to 18 months. Locations include Bankstown, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, City (Darlinghurst), Fairfield, Hornsby, Leichhardt, Liverpool, Long Bay, Mount Druitt, Parklea, Parramatta, Penrith, Silverwater, St Leonards, Sutherland, and Windsor.
Your Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and reception services to both internal and external clients, ensuring high-quality support for the organization's service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing administrative support services related to business operations.
- Handling non-complex client matters.
- Undertaking word processing and data entry tasks.
- Preparing correspondence and taking minutes.
- Maintaining electronic and physical file records.
- Providing support for meetings and events.
What You’ll Do
Key responsibilities for this role involve managing information and records effectively:
- Collating information to support the development of accurate documentation and reports, particularly concerning assets.
- Updating records and databases while complying with strict records management processes.
- Ensuring all information is accurate, correctly stored, and easily accessible.
Previous administration experience and strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and competency in record management systems, are highly desirable. The ability to learn and adapt within the role to gain a comprehensive understanding of its functions will be crucial.
