About the Role
NPHire is expanding its national virtual care group and is actively seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners to join a fully remote telehealth team. This contract role offers exceptional flexibility, allowing you to choose your own hours and be compensated per visit. Providers typically manage around 20 consults daily, depending on their availability.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will engage with a diverse patient population, addressing a steady mix of common acute conditions, episodic care needs, and routine primary care follow-ups. New graduates are encouraged to apply if they possess the confidence to manage acute presentations effectively within a virtual healthcare setting.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth visits for common acute and episodic conditions.
- Manage routine primary care follow-ups and chronic condition check-ins.
- Review laboratory results and diagnostic imaging as available.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications appropriately.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation within the platform EMR.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, FL, GA, MA, NY, NC, OH, PA, IL, NJ.
- Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP).
- Comfortable working independently and autonomously in a virtual care environment.
- Previous telehealth experience is helpful but not mandatory.
- New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Average earnings range from $80 to $110 per hour, based on visit volume.
