Our Offer for You

As a Working Student User Researcher at Noxtua, you’ll support our product teams in conducting and evaluating user research to help us better understand the needs of legal professionals. You’ll assist in preparing and running interviews, surveys, and usability tests, and help analyze the results to turn user feedback into actionable insights for our Legal AI product. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in applied user research and collaborate with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

Your Team

You’ll be part of the research team within the cross-functional product team, collaborating daily with engineers, product managers, legal experts, and designers. Each team consists of 6–7 developers, a product manager, and a designer, whom you’ll support through user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, and validating design concepts.

Your Hiring Manager

You will report to Lea, Senior User Researcher at Noxtua, who leads the research processes, strategy, and studies for Noxtua, our Legal AI solution. With extensive experience in user research and UX strategy, Lea is passionate about user-centric and data-driven development of digital products. She fosters a collaborative and agile work environment, ensuring that the right people and teams understand the user insights to realize the right ideas. Lea values ownership and innovation, making her an advocate for continuous improvement of existing processes to enhance user-centricity.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assists with conducting mostly deep qualitative research studies (e.g., interviews, contextual observations, diary studies).
  • Assists in identifying research needs with stakeholders and supports planning and synthesis of insights from user studies.
  • Helps analyze user behavior using basic (statistical) methods and tools to contribute to actionable product recommendations.
  • Collaborates with researchers, product managers, designers, and engineers on projects.
  • Contributes to artifacts like personas, journey maps, our research insights database, and reports.
  • Prepares and presents insights to stakeholders under guidance and advocates for users.

About You

We are looking for someone with an ongoing degree in Human-Computer-Interaction, Psychology, Human Factors, or a related field from a German university. You should be fluent in German and English, with additional languages being a plus. You should also possess:

  • Basic mixed‑methods research skills (interviews, usability tests, surveys, analytics) and the ability to support data translation into user journeys & design recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills for sharing insights and collaborating with teams.
  • Empathetic, curious, organized, and motivated to learn in fast‑paced environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma/FigJam and a portfolio showcasing student or internship research work is a plus.
