This is an exciting opportunity for a driven accounting leader who thrives on problem-solving, guiding businesses, and building strong financial foundations.As a Controller at NOW CFO, you’ll bring more than just technical skills; you’ll act as a trusted advisor, helping clients mitigate risk, improve profitability, and make informed business decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, GL, and payroll.
• Manage key accounting functions such as job costing, WIP, inventory, and revenue recognition.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Own the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Standardize systems and processes to drive efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Partner with leadership to guide financial decision-making.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff.
• Champion positive change and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Background in consulting or audit (preferred).
• Experience leading or managing accounting teams (preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
