Job Summary
In the role of Financial Analyst, you will support the VP of Finance and work closely with Sales and Operations to drive revenue growth and margin optimization. You will analyze financial and commercial data, develop budgets and forecasts, and deliver actionable reporting to help inform strategic decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Prepare financial statements, annual plans, forecasts, and operational reports.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners, identifying process improvements.
- Develop and disseminate financial report packages for business leaders.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring high-quality financial predictions.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, recommending solutions for variances.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and reporting tools.
- Enhance internal financial systems using ERP and BI tools.
- Create clear presentations of financial analysis for non-financial audiences.
- Collaborate with sales and operational teams for cost tracking and reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and assist in year-end audits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, accounting, or similar.
- Minimum 2 years experience in finance analytics.
- Experience in international companies or group of companies is an advantage.
- Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented approach.
- Affinity for structured work and analytical processes.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; ERP and accounting software familiarity is required.
- Knowledge of MS Business Central and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work with all organization levels.
- Self-starter capable in ambiguous situations.
