🎯 The Role

We are bringing on a passionate and technically skilled Video Editing Intern to join our growing remote post-production team. You will not be sitting on the sidelines. You will collaborate directly with experienced editors, directors, and creative strategists — executing real client projects with real deadlines and real creative impact. ✅ What You Will Do

• Editing & Post-Production: Edit and deliver polished, high-quality videos for digital campaigns, social media reels, and brand films. Grade and color-correct footage to broadcast and digital standards that make every frame shine. Mix and master audio to professional delivery standards across all output formats. Get hands-on with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Runway ML, and AI video tools used by top production studios.
• Motion Graphics & Design: Design and build dynamic motion graphics, title sequences, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects. Craft and animate brand-aligned visual elements using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Create engaging animated transitions, lower thirds, and branded visual identities for client projects.
• AI-Powered Workflows: Leverage AI-powered tools including Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, Cap Cut AI, and Topaz Video AI to elevate quality and accelerate delivery. Stay updated on emerging AI video tools and apply them to real production workflows.
• Collaboration & Project Management: Collaborate remotely with directors and the creative team from concept through to final cut. Organize and maintain project files, assets, and media libraries with precision and consistency. Support senior editors on large-scale multi-platform productions and ensure on-time delivery.

🔍 What We Are Looking For

• Must-Have: Completed a degree or diploma in Multimedia, Film Production, Mass Communication, or any related creative field — OR holds a certified Video Editing / Post-Production course from a recognized institute. Minimum 1 year of hands-on video editing experience — freelance, agency, studio, or self-produced projects count. Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Working knowledge of AI tools for video post-production. A sharp eye for pacing, color grading, composition, and visual storytelling. Ability to work full-time remotely — 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Reliable high-speed internet connection. Personal editing system capable of handling Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects smoothly — 16GB RAM recommended.
• Good to Have: Knowledge of 3D animation or advanced motion design. A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing diverse and versatile editing styles. Familiarity with content formats for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and digital ad campaigns. Experience editing branded content or corporate films.

📋 Our Selection Process

Simple. Transparent. Merit-based.

2. Editing Task: Shortlisted candidates will receive a Video Script and be asked to produce a short sample edit — showcasing your real skills in action.
3. Google Meet Interview: Selected candidates will be invited for a focused and friendly conversation with our creative team.
4. Offer Rollout: Final candidates receive an official Offer Letter and are onboarded into the Novela Films team.
