Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner and global leader in automation systems, is offering an opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our fast-paced, customer-oriented team. This entry-level position focuses on learning and contributing to software development while actively participating in process improvements and team collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test and deploy software solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing workflow enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and offer innovative solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Develop an understanding of industry trends and best practices for informed decision-making.
  • Execute tasks with quality and timeliness to support project goals.
  • Embody company values and ESOP principles by promoting ownership and collaboration.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, contributing to a positive team dynamic.

Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field and 2+ years of software development experience or equivalent.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Python, Lua, SQL; experience with REST API, MQTT, OPC-UA, JSON, XML; visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau; familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP); Agile development experience.

Additional Requirements: Ability to travel to customer sites, demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, work in cross-functional teams, and meet physical requirements (lifting up to 30lbs, extended computer work, and adapting to industrial environments).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $72,000 - $79,000 with a potential bonus of 5%
