Summary

The IT Business Partner acts as a strategic liaison between the IT organization and business units at Novartis. This role is responsible for understanding business needs, shaping demand, and ensuring delivery of technology solutions that drive business value.

About The Role

As an IT Business Partner, you will collaborate with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals, manage IT portfolios, and foster innovation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Serve as the primary contact between IT and business units, translate business needs into IT requirements, and maintain alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Demand Management: Capture and prioritize business demand, facilitate intake for new initiatives, and ensure proper governance.
  • Project & Portfolio Oversight: Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress, risks, and benefits realization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with business leaders and communicate IT strategies, roadmaps, and updates effectively.
  • Learning Agility & Growth Mindset: Adapt quickly to new technologies and market dynamics while promoting digital transformation initiatives.

Essential Requirements

7+ years of experience in IT roles, preferably in Marketing & Sales within large multinational companies. Experience working in complex matrix organizations and managing senior business stakeholder engagements is required. A strong background in modern IT technologies and best practices, with knowledge in areas such as SFE, Digital Transformation, ML/AI, Marketing Automation, Veeva, Salesforce, Master Data Management, Web technologies, and Google Analytics is highly desirable. Experience in the healthcare industry and FMCG is a plus. An advanced degree in Information Technology or Business Administration is preferred.
