CFO Israel at Novartis
As the Country CFO for Novartis Israel, you will be the strategic financial leader and business partner to the Country President and the leadership team. This pivotal role drives financial performance, ensures compliance, and enables sustainable growth across commercial operations in Israel.
About The Role
Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; (12 days/month in office)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities for Israel.
- Provide financial insights and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the distribution and commercial function, acting as a reference point for key distributor relations.
- Ensure compliance with Novartis Financial Controls Manual (NFCM) and local regulatory requirements.
- Partner with functions to uphold highest compliance standards in local operations.
- Implement and monitor credit risk management frameworks aligned with global policies.
- Oversee the financial operation of Israel.
- Collaborate with commercial teams for superior brand performance and portfolio optimization.
- Provide financial guidance on pricing, market access, supply chain, and trade decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance/distribution team.
- Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and capability building within finance.
Essential Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Proven track record in financial planning, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong leadership presence with ability to influence across all organizational levels.
- Fluent in English; Hebrew (Israeli) would be an advantage.
