About the Role

The Analista de Dados Business Intelligence Sênior at NOUS LATAM works on enhancing the online checkout experience. The platform auto-fills customer data at checkout, storing the data from one purchase to facilitate future transactions across multiple stores. The business model is based on transaction fees.

What You Will Do

  • Measure product metrics such as conversion rate, GMV, average ticket, and drop off per checkout stage.
  • Construct and evolve funnels (e.g., checkout) and behavioral analyses including cohorts, retention, and paths.
  • Create self-sufficient dashboards in Metabase with filters, drill-downs, and subscriptions; standardize collections and Saved Questions for reuse.
  • Assist in designing A/B tests, including hypothesis development, success metric definition, sample size calculations and result analysis.
  • Operate data pipelines from Hevo to BigQuery to dbt and then to Metabase ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Write performative SQL in BigQuery and model in dbt with tests and documentation when applicable.
  • Ensure metric/event dictionary, maintain data tests, integrity checks and simple alerting systems.
  • Respond to ad-hoc Product/Growth inquiries, delivering clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize demands and drive roadmap decisions.

Requirements

Mandatory: Advanced SQL (CTEs, windows, aggregations) with BigQuery best practices, dashboard creation (preferably Metabase) focused on clarity and decision support, understanding of product metrics such as funnels, conversion, GMV, average ticket, cohorts/retention, and basic LTV along with knowledge of A/B testing principles.

Preferred: Familiarity with Modern Data Stack including Hevo, BigQuery, Metabase, regular use of dbt, Python automation, observability/quality tools, cost optimization in BigQuery, dimensional/semantic modeling, experience with e-commerce/checkout processes, versioning with Git, and objective documentation.
