About the Role
The Trust & Safety team is seeking a full-time Fraud & Abuse Analyst to join the operational account security team. This role involves reviewing account behavior for unexpected activity, working alongside engineers and business teams, and managing risk escalations from report to completion.
What You'll Achieve
- Develop user-facing risk monitoring processes and perform account reviews.
- Collaborate with Engineering to enhance account review tools.
- Investigate and implement fraud & abuse policies with Legal and Security.
- Respond to high priority escalations related to account access and compliance screenings.
- Maintain key performance metrics and internal knowledge libraries.
- Provide materials and training to BPO partners and manage outsourcing resources.
- Participate in a semi-quarterly on-call rotation for high-priority incidents.
Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years of experience supporting software application users.
- Strong communication, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with risk assessment techniques and independent research.
- Ability to balance user expectations with security policies.
- Experience collaborating across multiple offices.
- Proficiency in SQL or similar query languages.
Nice To Haves
- Direct experience in a risk-related role and account review tools.
- Experience managing risk-related complaints.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and a data-driven approach.
