Job Description

About the Role

The GME Training Program Administrator will play a crucial role in implementing program objectives by maintaining databases, recruiting residents, and fostering effective working relationships with faculty and residents. This position is responsible for assisting in the development of program policies, procedures, and system processes that comply with external guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists in maintaining program accreditation with ACGME and applicable councils, preparing and coordinating materials for self-study and site visit reviews.
  • Reviews, assesses, develops, implements, and enforces program-specific policies as required by ACGME and other accrediting bodies.
  • Maintains, monitors, and completes all required updates on applicable websites, surveys, and electronic databases.
  • Provides administrative and logistical coordination for all medical education programming within the department.
  • Prepares, monitors, and disseminates faculty and resident rotations, on-call coverage, work hours, and vacation schedules.
  • Coordinates the annual appointment, credentialing, and on-boarding process for existing and new residents and fellows.
  • Plans and executes annual residency and/or fellowship recruitment processes, documentation, and events.
  • Monitors and coordinates the evaluation process to ensure ACGME milestone evaluations are captured.
  • Assists with the completion of the Annual Program Evaluation (APE) module and ensures submission to OAA.
  • Organizes and oversees all aspects of courses, conferences, alumni, and graduation events, ensuring alignment with CME guidelines.
  • Compiles required documents to ensure Clinical Competence Committee (CCC) functions according to program requirements and the Next Accreditation System.
  • Operates under general guidance, with assignments requiring interpretation and independent decision-making.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
