As a Sentinel Sr. Principal STPA Systems Security Engineer, you will combine traditional systems engineering with holistic system analysis to identify and mitigate potential security, safety, and availability risks.
Role Responsibilities
- Apply STPA handbook guidelines with MBSE tools.
- Decompose systems to identify causal scenarios and unsafe control actions.
- Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risks for mission-critical functions.
- Generate structured requirements, decomposition strategies, and mitigations.
- Lead working groups and customer meetings while ensuring clear risk communication.
- Support additional MDT duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications and Experience
US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance, a STEM degree with relevant experience, and strong technical communication skills. Minimum required experience includes applying systems security engineering principles, analytical methodologies, and meeting project schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SAP Access.
- Direct experience with ICBM Systems and Program Protection principles.
- Experience in developing security requirements for hardware and software assurance.
- Proficiency with MBSE tools such as CAMEO and DOORS.
