What You'll Get To Do:
- Manage a team of 10-15 technical staff.
- Oversee administrative functions: staffing, performance, and compensation.
- Lead program engineering for hardware design and deployment projects.
- Perform technical work including IPT leadership and software debugging.
- Collaborate with program management for cost, schedule, and hiring targets.
This is a dual-role position where approximately 80% of the time is spent on program duties and 20% on functional management. Your role includes technical leadership, team development and ensuring efficient engineering processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in STEM with 8+ years experience (or equivalent advanced degree requirements).
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing teams of 10 or more.
- Lab environment experience and expertise in automating tests.
- Track record designing and implementing software solutions.
