About the 2026 Engineering Intern - Product Support
At Northrop Grumman, employees work on revolutionary systems impacting global defense and aerospace. The role is part of the Aeronautics Systems Intern Program and involves contributing to product support and engineering analysis for reliability, maintainability, supportability, modeling and simulation, obsolescence management, and support equipment design.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering analyses and product development.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment.
- Work from engineering drawings and instructions.
- Operate equipment, perform tests, and report data.
- Prepare compounds and solutions as prescribed.
Basic Qualifications
Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college/university pursuing a STEM degree with a graduation date after August 2026. U.S. citizenship is required, and candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates have a cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher, previous internship or co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
Additional Details
Relocation assistance may be available. Travel up to 10% is expected. This internship is full-time during the summer for at least 10 weeks, with compensation based on level (undergraduate or master’s) and other factors.
