Role Overview

The Data Analyst - AML/KYC is part of the First Line of Defence function. Reporting directly to the Head of AML/KYC Program Management in the COO office, this role focuses on analyzing financial crime data to drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis & Modelling: Lead KYC data analysis, identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Data Management & Quality: Ensure data accuracy through cleaning, validation, and governance practices.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs/KRIs; prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for varied audiences.
• Data Mining & Reporting: Manage data preprocessing and mining using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Python.

Technical & Reporting Skills

Expertise in data preprocessing, pattern recognition, data warehousing and automation is essential. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and reporting systems (e.g., Actimize) is required.

Qualifications & Skills

• College degree or relevant experience.
• Prior AML/KYC experience with management reporting exposure.
• Strong technical skills including advanced Excel and data visualization tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and attention to detail.
