About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Retail Operations to support Retail Operations and Technology initiatives for a growing direct-to-consumer retail organization. This role is responsible for managing complex, cross-functional projects that power retail store experiences, systems implementation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at breaking down ambiguity into structured execution plans, and has strong experience implementing retail systems and technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Program Execution
- Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution and delivery
- Break down complex programs into structured, actionable workstreams
- Manage timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Provide clear status updates and executive-ready reporting
Retail Systems Implementation
- Drive implementation and enhancement of retail technologies, including:
- POS (Point of Sale)
- ERP systems
- CRM platforms
- Audio/Visual systems
- In-store demo technologies
- Partner with enterprise systems and product teams to ensure seamless integrations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Translate technical requirements into clear execution plans
- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Product Marketing, Enterprise Systems, Retail Design, Finance, and Product Management
- Navigate ambiguity while maintaining execution velocity
Operational Excellence
- Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
- Apply structured project management methodologies
- Improve workflows and drive continuous optimization
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of project or program management experience within:
- Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) retail
- Consumer electronics
- Technology organizations
- Premium hospitality environments
- Hands-on experience implementing retail systems (POS, ERP, CRM, AV, demo technologies)
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Asana, MS Project, Wrike, etc.)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and execution
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
Work Environment
This role operates in a fast-paced, high-visibility retail operations environment, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration across technology and retail teams. While the role is explicitly 100% Remote (Global), the broader organizational culture may involve a hybrid work model.
